Nigeria v Egypt: Siasia drops Iheanacho, unleashes Ighalo, Moses

Super Eagles handler, Samson Siasia, has opted for the striking combination of Victor Moses and Watford FC danger man, Odion Ighalo, for today’s make or mar AFCON 2017 second leg qualifying tie against the Pharaohs of Egypt in Alexandria.
The gaffer dropped to the bench Manchester City wonder kid, Kelechi Iheanacho, who started the first leg on Friday.
Both Ighalo and Moses would get supplies from the team’s skipper, Mikel Obi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Aminu Umar and CSKA Moscow winger, Ahmed Musa.
Chippa FC goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, replaces injured Carl Ikeme, while he will receive cover from Abdullahi Shehu, Stanley Amuzie, Efe Ambrose and Godfrey Oboabona.
Meawhile, South Africa’s Daniel Frazer Bennett will be the centre referee at Borg el Arab Stadium.
It will be an all South Africa cast of officials as 39-year-old Bennett will be assisted by fellow compatriots, Zakhele Thusi Siwela and Peter Chauke.
Bennett, born August 22, 1976 in Dewsbury, England, is a schoolteacher at Mondeor Primary in Johannesburg.
He was voted PSL Referee of the Season in 2000-01 and 2010-11.
He has been an international referee since 2003.
Both teams had shared the spoils in Kaduna, tied 1-1.
The result was not what Nigeria needed and matters even got more complicated and desperate for the Nigerians following the withdrawal of Chad and deduction of points by CAF.
The match is scheduled for kick off at 6pm Nigerian time and 7pm in Egypt.

Eagles starting XI vs Egypt: Akpeyi, Shehu, Amuzie, Ambrose, Oboabona, Mikel Obi, Etebo, Aminu, Musa, V. Moses, Ighalo.
